Zen Garden Merge – Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information the Zen Garden Merge game uses, why, and the choices you have.
No account, no personal profile
The game has no sign-up or login. We do not ask for your name, e-mail address, phone number, contacts, photos or location, and we do not run our own servers that receive data from the game.
Data stored only on your device
Your garden is saved locally on your phone: the nursery board, dew, coins and leaves, the spirits' wishes, how far each garden area is restored, your decorations, the items and visitors in your album, the daily gift calendar, the day you last raked the sand, the guide and sound settings, and a session counter used to space out ads. If an older version of the game was installed, its saved progress is read once on your phone to give you a thank-you gift. None of this leaves your device or is sent to us.
Garden photos
When you tap Photo in the garden, the game makes a picture of your garden on your phone and opens Android's share sheet. The picture goes only where you choose to send or save it; we never receive it.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The game is free and shows ads served by Google AdMob, including optional rewarded ads you can choose to watch. The Google Mobile Ads SDK automatically collects and shares the following data with Google for advertising, analytics and fraud-prevention purposes:
- IP address (which may be used to estimate the general location of the device);
- interactions with ads and the app (for example app launch, taps and video views);
- diagnostic information (for example app launch time, hang rate and energy usage);
- device identifiers such as the Android advertising ID and app set ID.
Google states that this data is encrypted in transit (TLS). See Google's AdMob data disclosure and how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
Your consent and choices
- Where the law requires it (for example in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland), the game asks for your consent with Google's consent form before personalised ads are shown. You can change your choice later in the game: Settings (⚙) → Privacy settings.
- You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in Android: Settings → Google → Ads.
Zen Garden Merge (Evanor LLP): how to delete your data
Zen Garden Merge has no user accounts. Evanor LLP does not run a server for the game and holds no personal data about you. Everything the game stores (your garden progress, album, decorations, settings and the "Remove ads" status) is kept only on your phone.
Delete it yourself, at once
- Open Android Settings → Apps → Zen Garden Merge → Storage.
- Tap Clear storage (or simply uninstall the app).
This deletes all game data on the phone immediately and completely; nothing is kept. A "Remove ads" purchase stays with your Google account and can be restored with Settings (⚙) → Restore purchase.
Request deletion from us
You can also ask us to delete any data related to you: send an e-mail to evanor@evanorstudio.com with the subject "Zen Garden Merge data deletion". We reply within 30 days and confirm the deletion. As we store no game data ourselves, nothing is retained after your request.
Advertising data
Data collected by Google AdMob (IP address, ad interactions, diagnostics, advertising ID) is handled and retained by Google under Google's policies. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in Android Settings → Google → Ads.
Children
The game does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Ads are provided by Google AdMob under Google's policies.
Changes to this policy
If the way the game uses information changes, we will update this page and its effective date.
